Our dedicated leadership team has over 40 years’ combined experience working in partnership with more than 90 local authorities since 2010. Over these years, we have attained invaluable insights into the industry. This includes witnessing ‘what works’ and ‘what doesn’t’, and trialing innovative approaches such as using cutting-edge technology, delivery methodologies, and management systems. WISE emerged in 2020 from this accumulated wisdom and has provided a market-leading service model with a proven track record in partnership with over 40 local authorities across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Intelligence Led Patrolling
All of our Local Authority Partnerships benefit from an intelligence-led enforcement service which collects and distributes data in real-time, enabling effective and efficient deployment of resources to the electoral ward areas which most require enforcement action to be implemented. This data is displayed on an interactive map, highlighting offence locations – enabling us to plan deployment methods in accordance with where offences have been enforced most frequently.

Cutting Edge Technology
We provide our Local Authority partners with cutting-edge technology—including 5G-enabled handheld devices, 5G-enabled Body Worn Cameras, and a comprehensive case management system. This system offers real-time access to all evidence related to an issued FPN, ongoing investigations, payments, complaints, prosecutions, and report management.
Our GEO Fence technology enables our partners to analyse real-time data collected during patrols, such as the time spent in specific electoral ward areas and any enforcement actions taken.
Qualified Staff
At Waste Investigations Support & Enforcement, we equip our Environmental Enforcement Officers with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in providing a professional and visible enforcement service to tackle Environmental Crime. Our officers undergo a rigorous six-day induction training programme that spans a wide range of critical topics, from environmental crimes to customer service excellence. They gain in-depth knowledge of vital legislation such as EPA 1990, CNEA 2005, CPIA 1996, PACE 1984, RIPA 2000, DPA 2018, and GDPR 2018, ensuring they operate with the highest standards of legal compliance and integrity.
